About Us

We are Paul and Lyn from Gig Harbor, Washington. We love to travel and firmly believe that life is too short to say, "maybe some day." We're actively working on our travel bucket list!

Paul is a nurse practitioner and Lyn is a semi-retired financial product marketing manager. We have one son who is finishing his last year of college. 

This was our sixth Rick Steves tour. We discovered these tours in 2014 when we took the Family Best of Europe in 14 Days tour with our son who was 12 at the time (ours was a different itinerary than what is offered now). After that, we were sold! We've now done the Best of Italy in 17 Days (see my scrapbook from that trip here), Best of Eastern Europe in 15 Days (now known as the Best of Central Europe), Athens and the Heart of Greece in 14 Days, and the Best of Ireland in 14 Days.

A note about the drone videos included in here...all footage was done by Paul who is a FAA licensed drone pilot. Prior to the trip he researched all the local rules and regulations and registered with the appropriate Italian authorities.
